The history of the jazz festival "Jazz in Juan" began 56 years ago. The festival usually takes place in the second half of July. For half a century, world jazz stars such as Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Norah Jones have performed at the festival venues.

But that evening there was a terrible terrorist attack in neighboring Nice, and the festival was interrupted during national mourning. After three days, the concerts resumed and lasted until July 24. The musicians, shocked by the tragic events, dedicated their performances to the victims of the July 14 terrorist attack and their families.

For children and adults who are not into gastronomic pleasures, Antibes has a lot of sports activities on the water, as well as the Marineland Marine Park, which includes the Marineland marine animal park itself, Kid's Island attractions, Aquasplash water park and Adventure Golf golf park. In "Marineland" you can swim with dolphins (children must be at least 1.20 m in height) or, under the supervision of an experienced trainer, chat with a fur seal.

Initially, the mansion was intended to house the mentally ill and simply very poor artists, but later it was bought by the prolific and successful playwright of the time, Adolphe d'Ennery. One of his plays was staged in St. Petersburg under the title "House on the Petersburg Side, or The Art of Not Paying for an Apartment" - the first part of the enticing title, of course, belonged to the translator, the French playwright depicted only familiar realities. And d'Ennery's friend Jules Verne stayed for a long time - and it was in this cozy villa that the most famous dreamer of the 19th century wrote "Eighty Days Around the World."
