New Samsung tab. Samsung Galaxy Tab S review: the new flagship tablet. Packaging and equipment

The market for 10-inch tablets is not very rich in worthy models; in Russia Samsung and Lenovo remain full-fledged players, and other companies are only trying to compete with them. Today's review will be about the Korean gadget.

The tablet comes with two screen options

The company introduced a new middle-class product last year Samsung Galaxy Tab A with screens of 8 and 9.7 inches with an aspect ratio of 4:3. The device is positioned as a tablet, since its screen contains 20% more information. To be honest, the tablets were a little disappointing with their characteristics. Introducing Samsung Review Galaxy Tab And let’s figure out what this model is.

The package contains the tablet itself, a charger, a cord for connecting to a computer via USB, a user manual, and warranty documentation.

Design

The appearance of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A is unremarkable, the tablet versions differ only in screen size, the smaller one additionally has a speaker, and the model with 3G support has an additional slot for a SIM card. It would be hard to call the design outstanding. Typical inexpensive Samsung. The body is made of plastic with a coating that imitates metal. The assembly is traditionally excellent for a Korean company, nothing creaks, there are no cracks. The plastic itself is durable, scratches just don't appear. Scratching requires intentional effort.

The screen aspect ratio is 4:3, so the tablet is almost square in shape. The frames around the display are quite wide, making it easy to grip without touching the screen with your fingers. The default orientation is vertical, and therefore mechanical and touch buttons placed on the narrow side. Most manufacturers have abandoned this practice, but Samsung does not change tradition.

On the front panel of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A there are buttons at the bottom of the screen, at the top there is a camera eye and a proximity sensor, and on the 8-inch model there is an earpiece. On the right edge there is a power and volume button, just below there are slots for a SIM card and a flash drive. On the bottom edge there are two speakers and interfaces for connecting a computer cable and headphones.

On the back panel there is a large Samsung inscription, spoiling the entire appearance of the tablet. Top center is the main camera. There are two circles on the side for connection. To be honest, they are also superfluous here. Overall, the tablet looks like it belongs in the middle class.

Screen

But the display was frankly disappointing. If you can put up with and get used to the 4:3 format, then the resolution of 1024x768 and pixel density of 132 are not suitable at all. This is a huge step back, several years at once. In addition, the screen matrix is a regular TFT, not even IPS. The only good thing is the brightness of about 420 cd/m2 and high contrast.

The grain is noticeable and all imperfections are visible when reading. There is no anti-glare filter, so reading in the sun is a little difficult. True, high brightness saves in many situations. The view remains comfortable even at a high angle. There is also no coating against grease stains, so typos appear quickly.

Colors are reproduced quite accurately, but the backlight turns more into a white tint, which is not very natural. The brightness adjustment works correctly, the level changes in a couple of seconds. In the settings you can select the screen mode - adaptive and for reading. In general, the screen is made at the level of other budget class models and a priori cannot surprise you with anything.

Performance

Main "engine" Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab A - Quad Core Qualcomm processor Snapdragon 410 with clock frequency 1.2 GHz and graphics core Adreno 306. A fairly average processor is complemented by 1.5 GB of RAM in the version without 3G and 2 GB if available. The filling is typical for inexpensive models, but at the same time it demonstrates. Various tests show average results when viewing multimedia. In gaming, the tablet is confidently at the end of the list. So we won’t advise gamers to buy this model.

In everyday work, the tablet functions quickly, the menu scrolls through without freezing. The tablet copes well with its main purpose - Internet surfing; any page opens almost instantly with a fast connection. Online video plays great, and local video is no worse. An ordinary average machine.

Multimedia capabilities

Because samsung screen Galaxy Tab A is made in a 4:3 ratio, and the company itself positions the tablet as a device for surfing, so watching movies is not very convenient. Most of them are in 16:9 format, and when viewed, there will be black bars around the edges. Although you can get used to it over time.

The speakers sound quite loud, the sound in them is not bad, but nothing outstanding. You can connect headphones and get more pleasure with them. Standard players are not very convenient, so Play Store to help you - you can find different ones there for every taste.

Battery and operating time

Low display resolution and average hardware provide excellent battery life for the tablet. The model with a 9.7-inch screen is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery, and the 8-inch model has a 4200 mAh battery. Samsung promises up to 15 hours of video and 14 hours of surfing on the larger model and an hour less on the smaller one. In practice, you can expect lower readings for several hours. We can say that the tablet's performance is one of the best among similar models.

Camera

The tablet is equipped with two cameras - 5 (rear) and 2 (front) megapixels. The quality of the pictures is very mediocre. Basically, what else can you expect from a tablet?

Photo quality is average, with good lighting The images come out clear and with . Autofocus works correctly. If it gets even a little dark, the white balance becomes yellow, and color noise appears. The video quality is 720p for the main camera and 480p for the front camera; blurring and squares appear when the frames are too moving. But for documentary purposes it is quite suitable.

Operating system and programs

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet runs on Android 5.0.2 with the TouchWiz shell typical for all Samsung devices. It looks updated and not overloaded with unnecessary details. All installed programs fit on one screen, you don’t even need to scroll through the application menu. The system works easily, any application can be replaced with another from the Play Store.

Competitors

Samsung Galaxy Tab E - Android 4.4, lower price, 16:10 screen, no LTE version, weaker processor.

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70L - Full HD screen, better cameras, more powerful processor, approximately the same price.

Asus Transformer Pad TF103CG - little built-in memory, Android 4.4, weaker processor and worse cameras, significantly lower price.

Advantages and disadvantages

Concluding the review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A, let's note its pros and cons.

  • High-quality body assembly.
  • New Android version, regular updates.
  • Excellent autonomy.
  • High screen brightness.
  • Low screen resolution.
  • Average power hardware, low gaming performance.
  • Overpriced, having to overpay for the brand.

Conclusion

Would you buy such a tablet for yourself? Or maybe you've already used it? We invite you to write comments and express your opinions.

In 2015, Samsung brought to the market two tablets of the second Galaxy Tab S series: with 8 and 9.7-inch diagonals. Huge foot wraps have been written about the advantages of new products. We offer you an honest review. disadvantages of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

DISADVANTAGES WHICH ARE WRITTEN ABOUT IN REVIEWS AND TESTS

Screen aspect ratio is inconvenient for watching movies

In a review on Hi-tech.mail.ru It is noted that the tablet is completely tailored for Internet content: social networks, YouTube, and so on. Unfortunately, it became inconvenient to watch widescreen films on it. This is due to the screen aspect ratio of 4:3, which is why part of the film either moves beyond the visible area, or, conversely, leaves empty space, causing visual discomfort. Stretching the image helps, but somewhat distorts the original proportions.

Low power battery

Photo: skymarket.ua

This is especially true for the ultra-thin Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0. There is a 4000 mAh battery installed here. According to Hi-tech.mail.ru, its full charge lasts for an average of 4 hours of games or 7 hours of video in Full HD on maximum brightness screen. In a review on 4pda.ru Games are given no more than three hours. In normal operation (surfing the Internet, office applications, several photos), the battery lasts up to 12 hours. Energy consumption can be reduced by using a special tablet operating mode, but in this mode the list of applications that can be used is noticeably reduced.

Difficult to use and expensive case

Photo: www.rde.ee

This accessory is discussed in detail in the review on Keddr.com. TO new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (at least 8.0, at least 9.7) a universal case will not work (even if you choose the right one, the working buttons will be covered), you need a branded one. It is high quality and attractive, but figuring out how to install the tablet in the stand position is not easy. A special magnetic strip that secures the case locks the screen in some positions. It is impossible to get it out of this state even with a key; you have to change the position of the tablet. Why such difficulties is unclear. At the same time, the original case costs from 2000 to 6000 rubles.

Camera without flash

This is a step back compared to many other modern devices from the Korean company. Yes, the tablet is not a camera, but since there is an 8-megapixel camera, why not make it fully functional? And it turns out that during the day the tablet can take good photos, but even in good lighting, blurry frames periodically slip through. And even more so at dusk. The front camera is not impressive at all, 2.1 megapixels - this is not enough even for selfies.

There are also limitations when shooting video. As noted in the portal review 4pda.ru, in the maximum video recording resolution mode (2560x1440), you cannot use electronic stabilization, video effects, or take photos while recording video. And the shooting time is limited to five minutes. More or less high-quality shooting can be obtained handheld in Full HD mode with stabilization turned on.

Weak performance in “heavy” games

Photo: keddr.com

According to this parameter, as they write on HowTablet.ru, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 seriously loses to its main competitors - Nexus 9 and iPad Air 2. On GFXBench Manhattan tests, the Samsung tablet scored only 959 at native resolution, a far cry from the Nexus's 1,942 points and the iPad Air 2's 2,331. The popular HeartStone ran great on the Tab S2, but the game exhibited brief stuttering from time to time. Nothing like this Google tablets and Apple were not observed.

DISADVANTAGES WHICH ARE WRITTEN ABOUT IN THE REVIEWS

No fast charging

Unlike many other tablets, the Galaxy Tab S2 does not have this feature. The battery charges in approximately 4 hours (for some users, according to their reviews on Yandex.Market, a little longer).

Too “acidic” colors

Photo: blog.khojle.in

Users feel that the screen, especially on factory settings, is too contrasty and harsh in colors. Therefore, owners of the Galaxy Tab S2 have to tinker with its modes so that their eyes don’t get tired.

It is inconvenient to hold the tablet with one hand

Photo: i-cdn.phonearena.com

Due to the design features (thin side bars), you have to be very careful when holding the tablet with one hand. If you place your thumb on the screen, its sensor will stop responding to touch. Otherwise, the device will simply slip out and fall.

Poor speaker placement

Both speakers (of good quality, I must say) are located on the bottom end of the tablet. Therefore, while playing games or watching movies, holding the tablet with both hands, it is very easy to accidentally block one of them. The sound immediately becomes much quieter. It seems like a small problem, but it causes inconvenience for Galaxy Tab S2 owners.

Is it really that bad?

Photo: www.iguides.ru

“Sweet couple” Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 are truly technically advanced devices with a pleasant design. The 8-inch version is generally the thinnest tablet in the world. The eight-core processor allows you to solve the vast majority of tasks without any slowdown. The high quality of the AMOLED screen is noted by all review authors. Even the dialer, which seems optional for tablets, looks like a useful addition to the already wide functionality of the Galaxy Tab S2. But, taking into account the shortcomings described in reviews, tests and reviews, we can say that the second series of S-tablets turned out to be not as revolutionary as they might have expected. Therefore, the purchase of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 can be recommended primarily to connoisseurs of the brand, as well as to those who do not have enough money for newest ipad, but I want to have something similar in quality and functionality.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1” Wi-Fi tablet, won in an Intel competition, warmed my soul with expectations of getting a high-quality and truly enjoyable toy for home surfing the Internet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – packaging and accessories.

If we start talking about clothes, then in the Galaxy Tab 3 they are certainly good. If not the soul, then at least a piece of it, was put into the design of the tablet box. The packaging's stylized wood design looks very interesting and beautiful. On one side of the box you can see a close-up image of the tablet itself, as well as its main technical features.

There is also some information on the back technical specifications tablet, and a small photo of the device itself.

The Galaxy Tab 3's equipment is quite sparse. In addition to the tablet, the box contains documentation, charging and USB cable. There are no headphones here, and that's sad. After all, Samsung could have included ordinary Chinese penny plugs in the kit, but regretted that too.

Charging supplies the tablet with a current of 2A and a voltage of 5V. Very common options for tablets and powerful smartphones. Therefore, we can safely say that problems with Galaxy charging Tab 3, if you left your charger at home, there will be no visiting.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – appearance.

The tablet is made in the style familiar to the Galaxy Tab series. The rounded edges and silver-colored edging at the ends make this tablet recognizable from afar. If we talk about the appearance from the front side, then everything is quite compact, despite the wide frames around the display.

The top frame of the display houses the manufacturer's name, front camera and light sensor.

There are three touch control buttons on the bottom frame. In addition, the central “home” control button also has mechanical control, that is, it is pressed inward. Thus, we can say that here we have a kind of remote control with four functional controls.

And an important point - the buttons " context menu" and "Back" when you click on them, they indicate themselves with LED backlighting.

The back of the tablet seems to call for “more, more glamor”, since it has a completely glossy finish. Which, by the way, very quickly collects not only fingerprints, but also scratches. But you can’t argue against fashion; some people want beauty, others want practicality. Samsung decided that beauty would save the world of tablet sales, so they chose to dress their device in beautiful clothes.

The rear camera has found its place on the top of the back wall of the tablet. There is no need to rely on her gifted abilities; she is naturally blonde with 3 megapixels and no autofocus. Therefore, if you have a Galaxy Tab 3 in your hands, then you definitely shouldn’t show off the tablet’s camera among your friends.

On the bottom of the back of the tablet the amount of internal memory is indicated – 16GB.

I will start studying the ends of the tablet from the bottom, as the most important part. The fact is that there is a microUSB connector and a microphone through which charging and sound are supplied to the tablet.

The upper end face is rich in control buttons and other elements. There is a power button, a volume rocker, a flap underneath which hides a memory card slot, and an infrared receiver.

Galaxy Tab 3 supports microSD memory cards up to 64GB.

Having stated that the tablet has stereo sound design, the manufacturer did not deceive. There are actually two speakers on the sides of the tablet. Moreover, their volume is by no means low.

One of these sides also has a 3.5mm audio jack.

Summing up the appearance of the Galaxy Tab 3, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the tablet is built of very high quality. Nowhere does the device body have any cracks, backlashes or uneven joining of parts. But choosing a glossy surface back cover a tablet is, of course, a very controversial decision.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – screen.

The display of the tablet is another component that should be attributed to the nice wrapping of the tablet to present it in a good light. Of course, the screen is good, it has very strong saturated colors, I would even say too saturated, and a good reserve of brightness. But oddly enough, not everyone likes this. Some people simply don’t like such bright, poisonous colors, and such an opinion has its right to exist.

The screen resolution of the Galaxy Tab 3 is 1280*800 pixels. The tablet has a TFT-PLS matrix with all the ensuing circumstances. Considering the matrix size is 10.1 inches, the pixel density is 149 ppi, and the pixels themselves are visible to the naked eye.

Despite the TFT-PLS matrix, the viewing angles of the Galaxy Tab 3 are excellent. When viewed from an angle, colors are not inverted or distorted.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 - operating system.

The tablet is running operating system Android 4.2.2.

The Touchwiz Nature UI shell is used. All the design is implemented as much as possible so that you like the tablet from the first minutes of use. This is about the issue of clothes.

By default there are exactly three desktops. The main one contains a clock, date and time widget; news widget and widget Google search engine. And just below are shortcuts to the main services and programs.

If we go to the full list of programs, they take up about one and a half pages. But only the essentials are installed.

The switches in the top drop-down bar are well implemented, since they have not only inscriptions, but also intuitive icons. A separate line displays the display brightness control.

Tablet settings are standard. The entire list of settings is summarized in one general column, so there should be no confusion in finding the necessary options.

Of the maximum possible 16 GB, only 11.5 GB is available for use. The rest of the space is occupied by the operating system and system applications.

As for the RAM, after turning on the tablet it is occupied by about 2/3 of the 1GB of space. This state of affairs makes me think that with the most powerful games the tablet will have problems with data loading speed.

But the tablet performs its main function – surfing the Internet – perfectly. Surfing the Internet with a 10.1-inch screen is a pleasure.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – camera.

As I said above, the Galaxy Tab 3’s camera is of the “fear and flight” variety. Moreover, trouble comes from all sides - this is a low-resolution matrix and the lack of autofocus.

The photographs shown below are a striking example when we can safely say that “my 7-year-old Nokia takes pictures no worse.” :)

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – performance.

Responsibility for the speed of execution of user commands is assigned to the dual-core Intel processor Atom Z2560, clocked at 1.6 GHz and supporting core virtualization. The graphics in the Galaxy Tab 3 are powered by the PowerVR SGX544MP2 video processor.

Tests in a number of synthetic batch and graphics benchmarks confirm one fact - the tablet has average performance. By modern standards, it is worth saying that this is the bare minimum at which we can say that the system does not slow down and the games are still running.

And if we move on to a rough summary of performance, then this is the edge, especially in terms of the graphical component. Or in simple words- Galaxy Tab 3 does not The best decision for games.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – battery life.

For unknown reasons, AnTuTu Tester refused to work on this tablet. But this will not prevent you from judging the autonomy of the Galaxy Tab 3 over several days practical use. I’ll continue to capitulate and say that the main drain on battery power in the Galaxy Tab 3 is its screen. Moreover, if you use the tablet at maximum brightness in games or movies, then it is quite possible to turn the poor thing off in 5-6 hours. If we talk about mixed use of the tablet with the main focus on the Internet, then a full charge of the Galaxy Tab 3 is enough for about two days.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 – conclusion.

Sending the Galaxy Tab 3 to the dustbin of time and into oblivion is prevented by solid warehouse stocks Samsung and retail retailers, which they have been trying to get rid of very actively lately. The reasons for this phenomenon are clear; the Koreans have released a receiver in the form of the Galaxy Tab 4, which simply needs clearing the road for successful sales. It is for one of these reasons that the Galaxy Tab 3 most likely will not receive the much desired Android updates up to version 4.4. That is, if you want KitKat, buy the Galaxy Tab 4. And this is the first stone in the garden of the 3rd Tab series.
Next comes the same notorious clothes. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 is presented brightly and colorfully. Its external design of the case and the operating system itself can pleasantly dazzle the potential owner from the first minutes. But as soon as you take a closer look at the details, nuances begin to appear that are definitely not pleasing. This includes a glossy finish on the back of the tablet, a weak camera in every sense, and insufficient performance for modern games.
On the good side of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 on this moment It's worth the quality, nice appearance and great name of the manufacturer. And a little price - after all, for the 10-inch version of Wi-Fi they are now asking less than 10,000 rubles. And the choice, as always, is yours. :)

With this, I want to thank the readers of my review for their attention, and also thank the organizers of the competition Intel And DNS, including in person Dmitry Volnevich for the provided prize - a tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.

Tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7" 32Gb LTE Black (SM-T825)

RUB 39,990

The Tab S3's outstanding audio system helps you enjoy watching movies or listening to music even more. Four speakers located at the corners of the tablet are capable of producing surround sound. Moreover, this system, developed by Samsung in close collaboration with sound masters from AKG, has fully earned the right to be called smart: it changes the volume of high and low frequencies depending on the position of the device. And this allows you to enjoy movies or music, sitting comfortably and positioning the tablet however you like.

Fun time

When creating the Tab S3, we didn't forget about gamers! Especially for them, Samsung added a favorite feature to the tablet. Game Launcher, through which all games are placed in a special folder: this greatly simplifies access to them. Based on the user's preferences, Game Launcher makes personalized recommendations and offers to download new games. Among other things, you can configure automatic switching on Do Not Disturb mode, and then nothing will distract you from the game.

The Tab S3 has a top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with four cores. To this are added four gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of internal memory, expandable with microSD cards.

To make games look even better, the Tab S3 supports the Vulkan API, designed to improve performance and create high-quality graphics. At the same time, the Tab S3 can work for as long as 12 hours on a single battery charge.

Tablet computers with the company logo starting with the letter S differ mainly only in size and characteristics. Otherwise, the changes are minor - slightly more rounded corners, differences in case materials, different speaker placement, and some models lack a physical Home key. That is, to choose suitable device, you need to have a good understanding of gigahertz, megapixels and gigabytes. Only some people don't need it. Therefore, this material will not consider the most complex technical parameters of devices, but only general and understandable information about them. Moreover, the main emphasis will be on real reviews users.

Galaxy Tab Series

First, it should be clarified that all tablets in this line run on Android OS different versions. To interact with the device, you use the TouchWiz user interface, designed specifically for Tab tablets.

These devices, in principle, like other similar devices, have slots for SIM cards and memory cards, two cameras (front and main), a connector for charger and multi-inch displays. And of course they are different. New models have more advanced functionality.

Galaxy Tab

Now this model is unlikely to attract anyone's attention, but for reference it is worth noting that it is equipped with a Wi-fi module, accepts a 3G connection, has only one 3-megapixel camera on the rear panel and a 4000 mAh battery. To be clear, the charge will last for about 6-8 hours of video viewing.

The TFT display dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab are 7 inches. At a resolution of 1024 × 600, it showed an excellent picture. By the way, he then left immediately after first Apple iPad, but due to the unreasonably high price, it never achieved great popularity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

Samsung's “second pancake” turned out to be more successful. At least in terms of price. Since new devices may have different displays, which is not their only difference, it would be better to talk about each separately.

The device with a 7-inch display runs on Android 4.0 and has 8GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 32GB. There is even an infrared port for connecting to a TV and a front camera for video calls. As for performance, the device is capable of running more than half of the applications that it offers Google Play. But this is now, but before everything was possible.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has more a high resolution display, more internal memory and more capacious battery- 8000 versus 4000 mAh. By the way, both the first and second options come with or without SIM card support. Because of this, their prices are different. And everyone has a Wi-fi sensor.

The second model in the Samsung series, the Samsung Galaxy Tab, reviews of which immediately flooded the network, left a more pleasant feeling. The disadvantages concerned mainly the rear panel, which gets scratched quickly, and the weak front camera. But what can you do, 0.3 megapixels can hardly be called a resolution. Especially now.

Galaxy Tab 3 tablet

Some time after the release of Tab 2, the South Korean manufacturer releases a new gadget - Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 with diagonals of 10, 8 and 7 inches. Only this time the devices have even more differences.

The smallest device is controlled by a 1.2 GHz processor, has a 4000 mAh battery and two cameras. Moreover, the quality has already reached 1.3 megapixels. They decided not to increase the RAM - they left it at 1 GB, but the memory card slot will now accommodate a 64 GB accessory.

A device with an 8-inch display will be more powerful due to its processor and 1.5 GB of RAM. In fact, it shoots much better, because the main camera here is 5 megapixels. There are also two stereo speakers, a 4500 mAh battery, and the information storage can be in two sizes: 16 and 32 GB. Interestingly, unlike the younger model, this device supports a 4G connection.

Although the large Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.0 has the most powerful processor, the RAM is stuck at the level of the 7-inch version. But the battery has a capacity of 6800 mAh. Concerning wireless networks and cameras, everything here is the same as in the previous model.

What do they say about the third model in Samsung line- Samsung Galaxy Tab? There are reviews, and there are many of them. IN better side Mostly the device is of medium size. Among the shortcomings, poor equipment and a dirty case are noted. Users of 7- and 10-inch tablets do not have enough RAM and megapixels in the camera. And a device with a large diagonal is inconvenient to carry.

The production of tablets with an 8-inch screen very quickly became a habit, so there was no doubt that such an option would appear in the fourth generation. And now three new models have entered the market.

All 3 tablets are identical to each other, at least in characteristics. Same amount of RAM, same cameras. Only the battery capacities and display diagonals are different. True, the 7-inch Tab 4 has now “matured”, its resolution has become 1280 × 800 pixels. Therefore, the picture is clearer than on wider models.

Regarding wireless networks, everything remains the same. Each device can be purchased in two versions: with and without SIM card support. Wi-fi module, as a rule, is present everywhere. And, by the way, now all Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 are capable of catching LTE networks.

Now it’s time to find out why users of these tablets may be dissatisfied. As for the big model, then a weak battery is indicated here. Although why be surprised, the screen is huge. Otherwise, the disadvantages are minor - inconvenient location of the charging connector, a bad camera and the fourth Samsung Galaxy Tab Black is too easily soiled. There are no complaints about performance. All tablets are powerful enough to run any application.

Galaxy Tab S

What can I say about this model in the Tab line? Well, first of all, there is no 7-inch option here. Secondly, the display is made according to Super technology Amoled, and now its resolution is 2560 × 1600 pixels. The picture is clearly visible even in sunny weather. Thirdly, there is a fingerprint recognition sensor. So outsiders are prohibited from entering here.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S, which only accesses the network via Wi-Fi, is equipped with an eight-core processor, while the one that supports 4G connection has a quad-core variant. Each device has 3 GB of RAM on board, and the internal data storage is also increasing. Cameras have gotten better. The resolution of the main one is 8 megapixels, and the front one is 2.1 megapixels. Useful features include GLONASS and GPS systems, a gyroscope, a digital compass and an accelerometer.

And now as for the impressions of users of this model in the Samsung line - Samsung Galaxy Tab. The reviews here are mostly all with a “+” sign. Respect to the developers for the bright display and clear picture, powerful hardware and good camera. Nobody even complained about the user identification sensor. At the same time, a weak battery is noted. Well, when was there a lot of mAh? Some also complain about quiet speakers and a large number of useless applications. Although the opinion about the software is rather individual. It will be very useful for some people.

Galaxy Tab S 2 tablet

In principle, the difference between the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 2 and the previous model is small. There are also two diagonals (8 and 9.4 inches), 3 GB of RAM, a fingerprint sensor and an 8-megapixel camera. Only both modifications already work on one eight-core processor, inner memory increased to 64 GB, the body became thinner, and plastic replaced metal. The model comes in 2 colors - Samsung Galaxy Tab White and Black.

The battery capacity of the large and small devices is 5870 and 4000 mAh, respectively. 10 hours should be enough. I would also like to say something about the software, because this tablet boasts a full-fledged Microsoft office and a gift space in the OneDrive cloud.

Despite the fact that the device was released not so long ago, many have already formed the impression of the second S-model in the Samsung series - the Samsung Galaxy Tab. Reviews mostly praise the device - productive, thin, with a bright, clear screen. The tablet's camera is also praised. Many people believe that the quality of the pictures is better than those produced by some 13-megapixel cameras. And on the list of minuses, the honorable first place is still occupied by the battery. Then there are the speakers located on one side and awkward touch buttons. But it’s hard to call all this a disadvantage.

What's the result?

It seems that all members of the “Tab family”, each at one time, were warmly received by the user audience. It is only worth considering the fact that for mobile devices new, more demanding things are constantly being written software. Therefore, it is advisable to decide right away. If for work, then it is not necessary to look only at latest models. And if for entertainment - watching movies, games and the Internet, then performance, of course, is important.
