And here are two important changes. Firstly, instead of the usual browser panels, there is a rather thin and transparent one containing the page title. The transparency is real - just scroll the page and you will notice how the page content goes under the panel and blurs with a frosted glass effect. Moreover, an API is available for webmasters to manage this transparency. You can change the color of the panel or turn it off altogether and make it completely transparent. For example, on Chrome.rf we have disabled the transparent panel for tabs.
Secondly, the tab bar has moved down. Moreover, different sites now have tabs of different colors (using the same logic as coloring sites in Tableau). Plus, tabs can now be grouped by domain. It is enough to go “outside” the site, and its pages are collapsed into a group.
Go ahead. If you click on the title of the page, you will be taken to the Upside Down. This is a special mode in which you can edit the current address (search, enter a new one), open a site from the Tableau, print a page, etc., but the most important thing here is what is below. There we can find contextual answers, tips and recommendations for the open site. For example, links to similar sites, a map, product prices, etc.
To summarize, the alpha version of the future Yandex.Browser is, of course, the same Blink/Chromium in the foundation (nobody invents bicycles these days) and Yandex technologies/developments next to them (all the features of the current version have not disappeared anywhere), but above all this we see a completely different design, expanded integration with search technologies and the desire to work with sites as with applications. Alpha is alpha, so for now it should be taken as a demonstration of ideas and design. Details should be assessed when it turns into at least beta.
Yandex presented a new version of its browser at a press conference. This is an alpha version for now, but now it’s worth taking a look at and starting testing. The main change concerned the interface. The company decided to move away from the usual view of the browser, turning it into a transparent window that shows the site. All controls have moved far into the background, including all panels, the address bar and other elements.
The user is greeted upon first launch by an animated screen with wallpaper and tiles (Table). There are no frames at the window at all. The animation is so beautiful that you can enjoy it for a very long time.
If you open a website in such a browser, then only the website will remain in the window and nothing more. At the bottom you can see a small panel with tabs, and at the top there is a thin strip with the name of the current page and the main control buttons on the right side of this strip. In this case, the background of the top panel is combined with the background of the current page - this creates the feeling that this panel does not exist at all, it merges with the background of the site.
The Yandex company called this the interface of the future, in which there is no interface at all. And this is correct, because many elements in the browser window that everyone is familiar with not only take up space that could be occupied by useful content, but also distract from working with the site. Each additional control that the user sees in front of him complicates the interaction. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a browser element or an element on the site – the user sees it in front of him at the same time.
It took the company several years to implement this concept, since disabling controls that were familiar to many users created a lot of problems. The company tried to solve all of them. How successful - let's look at the popularity of the browser among users.
Besides, in new version Yandex search is built-in, which can partially show answers to requested queries. It looks like the one shown in the picture above. Of course, Yandex Browser is still in the alpha testing stage, so there may be problems and shortcomings that the company will still work on. Yandex has presented a new version of its browser of the same name, however, it is still raw Alpha-version, but the developers were very eager to show off their work, apparently they wanted to see the community’s reaction to the non-standard browser interface.
What's so new that they introduced in, firstly, it's the size installation file(and possibly subsequent updates) - 98 MB, this despite the fact that the browser can be updated 1-2 times a month (minor releases) and 1 time every two months (major release), if the developers do not think about the update system - for 3G users\ 4G will not be very pleased to receive such updates at the most inopportune moment for the user must be at least some setting for managing updates.

Yandex Browser is an application based on the Chromium browser, developed by Yandex.
The first presentation took place on the first day of October 2012 at the Yet Another Conference, and half a year later this development attracted a decent share of RuNet traffic - a little more than 4%.
Yandex's ideas often overlap with Google's new products. In order to keep up with the search giant, Yandex has to closely monitor its moves. Therefore, many services in both companies are often quite similar. The same applies to the browser. Yandex began planning its browser immediately after the official release Chrome browser from Google.
The latest version of Yandex Browser is the so-called “beta version”. Previously, it was called the “alpha version”. About where to download it is written in the next paragraph.
To find out your version, you need to select “Advanced” -> “About browser” in the settings. An information page will open.

At the moment, Yandex Browser can be downloaded from two links:

Check spelling in the browser
Any modern browser (Internet program) has a built-in spell checker. With just one small adjustment, you can automatically correct errors in almost any text you type on the Internet.
This is done in exactly the same way as in Word. All misspelled words you type will be underlined with a red wavy line. By clicking on such a word right click mouse, a list will appear where the correct options will be offered.

To improve error correction, you can enable Google Assistant. This is done only once: right-click inside the text input field - Spell check options - Search for hints in Google - Enable.
Enable error checking in the Opera browser

Then you need to select a language. As a rule, the Opera browser is initially set to English. This means that it only checks the correct spelling of English words.
If this does not suit us, then we need to specify a different language. To do this, right-click again on the text input field and point to the “Spell Check Settings” item. In the additional list, click on the item “Dictionaries...”.

Checking and fixing errors in Mozilla Firefox
To enable the check, right-click in this text entry field:

A new tab will open. Find the desired language in the list and click on the “Install dictionary” link.

After loading, a window will appear in the center of the page. There you need to click on the “Install Now” button.
Then close all unnecessary tabs and right-click on the text input field again. In the list, point again to “Languages” and select the one you just installed.
The browser will now check spelling and try to correct errors. If you make a typing error in any text entry field, it will be underlined with a red wavy line.
To correct, right-click on the word and select the appropriate option, if available. Immediately after this, the “problem” word should be replaced with the selected one.
If suddenly from time to time misspelled words are no longer underlined, you should check whether spell checking is enabled in your browser settings.
To do this, open the program menu - the button with horizontal stripes at the end address bar. Select “Settings”, click on “Advanced” in the window and in the “General” tab, make sure that the “Check spelling while typing” checkbox is checked. If it is not there, install it and click OK.
