The indicated market differences can be considered the effect of the already well-known tendency in Huawei brand policy to rename smartphones for different markets (for example, as was done in the case of Mate SE and Honor 7X).

So, the classic Huawei P9 Lite 2017 is a smartphone with a 5.2-inch screen and dimensions: 147.2 x 72.9 x 7.6 mm, that is, according to current standards, a fairly compact design. And in the Huawei P9 Lite Mini model, the manufacturer decided to use a 5-inch LCD panel. This measure made it possible to reduce the height of the body of the new smartphone by 4 millimeters and its width by 2 millimeters (143.7 x 71.6 x 8.2 mm). Build quality is decent. Huawei P9 Lite Mini, as shown budget phone, looks very decent. Metal body(P9 lite 2017 has a glass back panel) and a plastic but aesthetically crafted side frame provide a secure grip.
