Lenovo laptop reinstalling windows. Lenovo service center. Reinstalling from a USB flash drive

Hello my dear readers, beginners system administrators and just computer lovers!

Yesterday I bought a new laptop, straight from the store. And as it turned out, according to the standard, the eighth OS from Microsoft was installed on it. And since I am a lover of the seven, I decided to put it exactly. Therefore, I will tell you how the installation of windows 7 goes on lenovo b50 30. Let's go!

Initial actions

We need to decide from what we will install our operating system. Let's say from a dummy. To install from a disk, you need not only the media itself, but also the distribution kit. Downloading him from here... You can do this using here this software.

Or, if you decide to install from a flash drive, then you need to prepare it, it should be 4-8 gigabytes in size.

Just first transfer the files from it to a secondary local hard drive, or just copy it to the cloud storage.

Bootloader entry

So, step-by-step instruction to burn an image to disk. We will need the UltraISO program, take her here... Download, install. Now go to the folder with the image operating system.

Click on the file right click mouse, we find the line with the name software and click on the line “ Disc burning».

Insert the disc into the optical drive. In the program window, select it, click on the record and wait for the end of the burning. That's it, the disc is ready.

Now let's figure out how to create a USB flash drive with Windows. Insert the media into the port. You open the software and find the image with the operating system.

, and there is an image recording hard disk.

Now we need to format our media.

Now you can start recording.

A successful burn will end with a record in the dialog box.

Installing the system

So, now let's deal with the installation. When installing the seven instead of windows 8, we will not see the usual blue screen... The first thing that appears is this screen.

We press any key on the laptop and we see this.

When the files are uploaded, the language setting interface will appear. You can choose anything you like.

By the way, if the image is recorded crookedly, then an error often occurs on this screen.

Now you need to select the capacity of the system. If the laptop is powerful and the processor has two or more cores, then a 64-bit version is needed, and if the PC is weak and old, then 32.

At the next stage, we choose complete installation... Make no mistake, don't press the top position.

It is important to choose a logical partition here. I recommend leaving 100 gigabytes for Windows, if space permits. If the hard drive is small, you can easily get by with 30-50 GB.

Then format it.

Now copy, unpack and install files will go. The system may reboot several times. The main thing is that it does not hang.

After 20-40 minutes, the setup interface should pop up account... Write down any name that you like, you can even just some word and that's it.

Now drive in the product key. You can do this later. If there is none, then you will have to look for a normal activator that will not break the system registry, because of which it can slow down.

In the security settings, select this line.

Customize your time zone.

In the properties of the networks, click home settings.

Here's the whole setup.

System BIOS setup

You need to configure the boot parameters from a disk or flash drive. We load from our BIOS. This can be done using the buttons DEL or F2 when restarting the laptop. Different versions of BIOS are configured slightly differently.

Let's take a look at the basic steps in the firmware kit that you will have to deal with, as well as options for settings.

Award BIOS - older version
As soon as the blue settings screen appeared, you need to select the second position, where it will be indicated - Advanced BIOS Features.

On the line with the value “ Second Boot Device"Do everything by analogy with the above, but put your hard drive there.

Then click on the keyboard Form 10 and press Enter... This will save your actions and after rebooting your laptop will be the first to read the disc in the optical drive.

AMI BIOS - modern set of macro programs
It's almost the same here, only the positions we need are in other sections.

Go to the downloads (priorities) section. It is called the word “ Boot».

In the first section, it is important to put the optical drive in the leading position, and the second - HDD... Next, just save and exit.

If it is decided to install the operating system from a flash drive, then the algorithms of actions are actually the same, but instead of a floppy drive, you need to select a partition with the letters USB-HDD everywhere. In principle, that was all that needed to be done.

Addition

You may have problems with the drivers after installation. Even if the Windows is maximum, it is far from the fact that it will contain everything required programs to work with your hardware. In this case, you can use the cool software - driver booster. Download it from here... This can be done for free.

Install and open it.

Press the start button and the software will start scanning your laptop for outdated and missing drivers. It can take from 2 to 10 minutes. It is important to be connected to global network... After completing the process, you will see a list of components for which there are new versions of firewood.

Lenovo is currently ranked fourth in the world's top five PC manufacturers. The company's arsenal includes desktop PCs, laptops, mobile phones, smartphones, netbooks and even servers, monitors, tablets, video cards. And this is despite such additions to all of the above, as mice, keyboards, memory modules, optical drives, power supplies, software and accessories, as well as covers, bags for laptops. The breadth of the company's portfolio is impressive, and filling the consumer market with Lenovo's electronics requires significant support. Lenovo specialized service center carries out it in many cities, especially in large centers of the country.

Today there is a rather widespread tendency to go not to specialized service centers, but to little-known "but very understanding" repairmen of equipment. Making such a choice, it is worth understanding that the Lenovo service center is directly engaged exclusively in this type of technology and electronics and one hundred percent knows the intricacies of this particular company. Moreover, Lenovo Service Center has the ability to cooperate promptly with other specialized companies that supply the necessary genuine parts for Lenovo equipment.

It is worth noting that most of the gadgets that are produced by this company have a wide range of non-standard and unique parts that can be found in few places. This is a known problem with Lenovo devices, but it is being solved thanks to specialists. Only Lenovo service center is able to get such necessary parts for a laptop as, for example, a matrix or original lamps for backlighting. In any case, if you have any problems with the electronics of this company, you should contact the Lenovo service center, and here's why:

1. Only specialists can guarantee the quality of the work performed, with a complete diagnosis and determination of the exact cause of the problem.

2. Exclusively in service center Lenovo, if necessary, will be offered to replace the non-working part with the original one. You can get an original part only by ordering it somewhere in advance, or from another phone, but in the center it comes directly as soon as possible.

3. Lenovo service centers service all the company's equipment, as they have selected and trained specialists directly for Lenovo service.

4. After purchasing one or another Lenovo gadget, the buyer purchases a warranty card or check, with which you can get free service. This service is provided exclusively at the Lenovo service center. This right is lost if the device has already been opened before the service specialist.

5. Service of any product of Lenovo manufacturer can take place in any of the services after the end of the warranty period.

On the Lenovo service center website, you can verify the list of gadgets that need to be repaired, as well as see the pricing policy (if the repair is not covered by the warranty) and the location of the nearest service department. Among them you will see services for the repair of tablets, laptops, netbooks, monoblocks at low prices. The foremen performing repair work not only replace parts, but also thoroughly understand the essence of the problem, doing everything possible to avoid a recurrence of the incident.

The Lenovo service center will offer you a wide range of repair services and determine the cause of the breakdown:

testing the entire system for breakdowns, the correct operation of all functions;
diagnostics of the gadget, including the operation of internal systems, heating, the operation of every part, which helps to accurately determine the cause of the breakdown, and also prevents new breakdowns of the device;
replacement of parts, including the matrix of an electronic device. The size of its diagonal is not important, since the Lenovo service center works directly with the company's suppliers;

repair of the matrix and other elements of equipment. Craftsmen undertake repairs only after a thorough investigation and diagnosis of the problem, when the cause is found, and the repair solution becomes obvious to them;
complex repair of the entire device, which may be necessary in case of major breakdowns, for example, after a gadget has fallen from a great height, etc.

Repair of individual parts, not to mention a comprehensive repair, requires the intervention of a real professional, and given the originality and uniqueness of some of the company's electronics designs, only Lenovo service center can perform this work with high quality. In their daily work, craftsmen regularly use high-class repair equipment, which allows them to perform the most delicate tasks. Among such working tools, mention should be made of:

specialized digital microscopes that allow accurate diagnostics;
soldering stations of BGA class;

the hardware and software complex necessary for the implementation of complete repair and diagnostics.
Moreover, each Lenovo service center offers even simpler services, for example, qualified consultations to customers who wish to purchase electronics and equipment from this manufacturer. The specialists in the center have experience working with many devices, as well as deep knowledge in each of them, therefore, consultations on the correct operation, use of individual functions of the device, etc. also provided directly by Lenovo service centers. Other offers include a change, software update for laptops, netbooks or stationary PCs.

Thus, the decision to use the services of the Lenovo service center is the most correct if your gadget began to work incorrectly, or if specific functions are not revoked, as well as in case of absolutely any problems or questions in the field of technology and electronic technologies of Lenovo.

The buyer of a Lenovo laptop can have one of three operating systems at their disposal: Free Dos, Linux, or Windows with limited functionality.

Usually, this situation does not satisfy the user, and he establishes a complete and familiar Windows version... You can cope with the task on their own, eliminating the need to involve third-party computer specialists and avoiding unnecessary costs.

You will learn how to do this by studying the information below. The instruction is relevant for modern versions of Windows. Reinstallation differs from installation "from scratch" in that in the first case, at the appropriate stage of work, it is strongly recommended to format the partitions in order to avoid confusion and performance degradation in the future.

After completing the preparation of the laptop for sale, it is configured to boot from the hard drive. The main problem with installing the OS on Lenovo is the enabled protection in the BIOS. Your task comes down to setting up the BIOS from the hard drive and booting from a CD or flash drive.

Pre-turn off the laptop, if it is turned on, and do the following:

press the power button;

wait 1-2 seconds (until the start screen appears on the display - the inscription LENOVO on a black background), after which we press the key on the keyboard several times to enter the BIOS menu. In modern models of Lenovo laptops, the same keys are responsible: the F2 button opens the service menu directly, the F12 button opens the boot device selection section.

The Delete button or a combination of Fn and keys from the "F" group may also work - to be specified for specific model and is usually determined experimentally;

examining the navigation (information is given at the bottom of the display). The task is as follows: open the Security (Secure) section, from there go to the category Secure Boot and press the Enter key;

configure Secure Boot to Disabled mode, i.e. disable protection;

press the Esc keyboard key to return to the main BIOS menu. From there we move to the Boot (Startup) section;

in the Boot section, the task boils down to configuring the laptop to boot from a CDROM or flash drive. To do this, move the appropriate option to the top of the list. Typically, the keyboard +/- keys are used to change positions, but depending on the specific version, there may be differences. Check this point in the navigation information (given at the bottom of the menu BIOS settings);

press Esc, find the UEFI / Legacy Boot item and set it to Legacy Only mode (in some cases, this action has to be performed before performing the manipulations from the previous point, check it individually). Press the F10 button and confirm the desire to save the changes made by pressing Enter.

Preparing a distribution kit for installing Windows on Lenovo

It is assumed that you have the original operating disc. Windows system... In this case, it is enough to insert the disc into the drive, restart the laptop and follow the further instructions of the bootloader.

But if you have to install the operating system from a flash drive, or if the original disk is lost, you will have to make a boot image yourself. There is nothing complicated about that. First, download / save the required version of Windows on a working computer and proceed.

For creating bootable flash drive do the following:

  • download the UltraISO program from the official website. If desired, use another program with similar functionality - the procedure will remain the same. UltraISO is the most popular and convenient option;
  • after waiting for the package to download, launch the installation file and follow the bootloader's recommendations;
  • click on the shortcut installed program right-click and run the software as an administrator by selecting the appropriate item, or you can run the ISO image itself directly;

in the opened menu of the program, press the button "File", then - "Open";

find the previously saved image of the operating system, select and open the "Bootstrapping" section. There we select the item "Burn hard disk image";

the program will open a pop-up window. Make sure the removable drive is correctly identified. If an error is found, we make the appropriate changes.

Important! When choosing a recording method, be sure to set the mode to –USB-HDD +.

press the button "Write". In the "Hint" window that opens, the program will offer us to delete everything from the USB flash drive. We do it. We are waiting for the completion of the creation of the bootable USB flash drive.

In a similar sequence, using the UltraISO program, a bootable CD or DVD is created.

Installing Windows

BIOS configured, boot device prepared. We proceed directly to Windows installation... To do this, insert a disk or a USB flash drive into the laptop and reboot the device. The laptop will independently "understand" how it needs to boot. As a rule, no additional user action is required. Some models "ask" to press any key to boot from a removable drive - we do it.

We are waiting for Windows to unpack the files, after which we select "Full installation".

  • if the hard drive is initially partitioned and file system formatted in NTFS, proceed with further installation;
  • if the system is CDA, we first delete the hard disk partitions. To do this, press the "Disk Setup" button and delete the partitions one by one.

Here we can divide the free space into several partitions. To do this, press the "Create" button, indicate the desired size (for the system, it is better from 30 - 60 GB) and confirm our actions. We repeat until we have allocated all the available space on the hard drive.

Highlight the section set aside for installing the operating system, and click on the installation. There will be no further features requiring detailed individual consideration. You need to follow the instructions of the installer.

The computer will restart several times. At the same time, there is no need to “touch” it - the system will do everything by itself. All you have to do is select the desired language, set the date / time settings, set the username and password.

Typical Windows Installation Problems

The most common mistakes among users are two typical mistakes, the admission of which in the process of preparing for the installation of Windows can make it impossible to successfully conduct the upcoming event.

First, the wrong choice of format at the stage of formatting the flash drive.

You need to choose either FDD or HDD.

The note was provided in the instructions for creating bootable media. When using other programs, be guided by the situation - the recommendations remain relevant.

Second, using the wrong boot image. Installation discs Windows fall into two categories:

  • bootable - intended for "clean" installation of the operating system;
  • not bootable - they are mainly used to solve various problems and work only from under the Windows interface.

To cope with the installation of the operating system according to the above sequence, the user must correctly emulate the image on a disk / flash drive.

To do this, check the settings in the program for creating a bootable drive for compliance with the presented requirements.

Thus, self-installation of Windows on Lenovo is not super complicated: you just need to consistently follow the corresponding recommendations. Follow the provisions of the learned manual, be careful at each step, and everything will definitely work out.

Good afternoon.

Let's configure the BIOS boot priority. Now I will show you in pictures (more precisely, pictures) how you can configure the UEFI BIOS and possible "pitfalls" that are rare, but occur.

Well, let's start setting up the BIOS of the Lenovo B590 laptop.

First, we have to go into the BIOS itself. We press the laptop power button as soon as the laptop display lights up, or rather the matrix backlight is triggered, we immediately press the F12 key (if I am not mistaken, then it is the key to enter the BIOS).

P.S .: In new models (revisions) / BIOS`ax, this key was changed to F1. For example on Lenovo b590 20206.

As you have done everything that is written above, a bios will appear in front of you.

This is how it looks on the Lenovo B590.

And so, go to the Security tab. Ask why? I will explain further. Next, go to Secure Boot.

Secure Boot visible

If you have Enabled, then even by configuring boot from a USB flash drive or drive, then your laptop will not allow you to boot from them, tk. it is a protection system and therefore needs to be disabled.

This is the pitfall in the UEFI BIOS, because. setting up Bios laptop will still not boot from the device you selected.

We do it as it is shown from the bottom, that is, we disable this function.

We go to BOOT.

As we switched to BOOT, we see the following.

Here we set the priority of the download, be it a USB flash drive or a drive.

P.S .: To select a priority, select a USB flash drive or drive, and use the + (increase) or - (decrease) device priority with the keys.

Press Esc, and rearrange the UEFI / Legacy Boot line from UEFI Only to Legacy First.

P.S.: It may be necessary to restart the laptop, since the BIOS mode changes (that is, new functions will be added).

With the F10 key, we save the BIOS settings and the laptop automatically reboots.

Congratulations! We set up the BIOS of the Lenovo B590 laptop and sorted out certain nuances, without which it would not have been possible to start the laptop from a drive or flash drive.

The other day I was asked to install Windows 7 instead of Windows 8 on Lenovo laptop B590. As usual, I tried to enter the BIOS through F2, then through other keys and ops .. did not work. I had to dig around and find a way out, or rather an entrance 🙂 Which I will gladly share with you today.

On the Internet, I also saw quite a few questions from those who wanted to change the eight to seven, but everyone had problems with entering the BIOS. Below you can watch the video tutorial on how to install Windows 7 on Lenovo B590, and if suddenly it is impossible to watch the video, we read the manual in the text version.

How to enter BIOS on Lenovo B590 laptop

First, turn on the laptop and insert the Windows 7 disc into the drive. Turn off, take out the battery, pull out the mains power from the laptop. We put the power in place and start the laptop from the NOVO button. It's a tiny little button next to the power button.

In a few seconds you will find yourself in the service menu. We select Russian language, keyboard layout - Russian. then select the Diagnostics item, Extra options , UEFI Firmware Options.

Now the laptop will require a reboot - we press the restart button and voila we entered the BIOS.

Now, with the arrows on the keyboard, go to the Security section, select the Security Boot item with the down arrow and press enter.

The Securu Boot parameter is set to Disabled - disabled.

We return to the main BIOS menu with the Esc key and with the right arrows go to the Startup section.

Select the Boot item - press enter. In this section, use the arrows to find your hard drive - ATA HDD ... and with the + (plus) button located on the right of the numeric keypad, we raise it to the very top of the list. If it does not go up to the very top, then select Windows Boot Manager and use the - (minus) key to lower it down.

In the same way, we raise to second place with a cidir - ATAPI CD1

Next in line you can put the device with which windows will be installed if it is not a built-in floppy drive.

We return again with the Esc key, click down on the UEFI / Legacy Boot item, change the UEFI Only parameter to Legacy Only.

We save the configuration with the F10 key and agree with the enter key.

Keep in mind: if you forgot something, changed it or set it up incorrectly, then you can enter the BIOS on the Lenovo B590 to restore the default settings only by removing back cover laptop (no big deal - only 2 screws) and taking out the cmos battery for a while. Then don't forget to set the correct date and time.

How to install Windows 7 on Lenovo B590 laptop instead of Windows 8

Now, in fact, the very process of installing Windows.

After rebooting, you do not need to press any keys, although we have assigned the F12 key to enter the boot device selection menu, the laptop itself will find the boot device and show the installation menu.

At the beginning of the installation, be sure to select Complete installation.

How to partition a Windows 7 hard drive

Next, you will go to the hard drive where you will have to delete all existing sections ... Everything is obligatory, otherwise you will not be able to reformat the screw from CDA to NTFS. To delete, click on the right Disk settings - select partitions one at a time and click Delete.

And do not forget to think about the fact that you are deprived of the factory warranty. And if changing the operating system is more important for you than guarantees, then we continue to dissect the hard drive.

Now we need to create 2 partitions, one more, which the system will create itself with a size of 100 MB, do not count. To do this, on the right, click Create, select the desired size (I set 200,000 MB - a little less than the second section) and click ok. We do the same with the rest of the unoccupied space, only we do not set the size, but leave it as the system suggests.

We have finished with the partition of the hard disk, select the second partition (the first is busy system files and has only 100 MB of space) and click on the installation.
